Mungo Symbols and Definitions: Key to the Icons on Mungo Data Sheets

  • Trade symbols: steel and metal, electrician, woodwork, sanitary installation, civil engineering, drywall, façade and scaffold.
  • Approval and test symbols include EOTA, DIBt, ICC-ES, CE marking, drinking water certification and approval for fixed water sprinkler systems from M8 to M20.
  • Seismic action symbols show performance category C1 or C2. Fire symbols show class B1 or B2 to DIN 4102, class B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1, and fire resistance up to 240 minutes (EI240 to EN 13501-2).
  • Setting depth symbols show fixed or variable depth: 4 to 12 x d, 4 to 20 x d, 8 to 12 x d or 8 to 20 x d.
  • Drilling and hole symbols: hammer drilling, diamond drilling, dry holes, dry and damp holes, and dry, damp and water-filled holes.
  • Material and finish symbols: stainless A2 and A4, zinc plated, hot dip galvanised, zinc flake, GreenTec (more than 750h salt spray to EN ISO 9227) and Nautilus (more than 1,000h to EN ISO 9227).
  • Also shown: drive types (Phillips, Pozi, TX, hexagon), SDS-Plus and SDS-Max, fast and slow curing, and VOC free and low emission labels.
