Types of Roles at Allmat
Customer Service & Trade Sales
Help trade customers and hardware stores with quoting, ordering, and product support. You’ll prepare dockets, follow up orders, and assist with customer queries across phone and email.
Timber or building materials experience is preferred but not essential—we’ll train you if you’re switched on and willing to learn.
Order Picking, Warehouse, Forklift Operators & Delivery Drivers
These roles are central to how we operate. You’ll be:
- Picking and packing timber, sheet goods, and artificial grass
- Operating forklifts and yard equipment
- Making deliveries to hardware stores and building sites (MR licence preferred)
- Assisting with incoming stock, inventory, and general yard duties
You’ll also work with timber machining tools like ripsaws, buzzers, and spindle moulders. Previous experience isn’t required—just a practical mindset and willingness to be trained.
Owner Drivers (Flatbed, Crane Truck & Tautliner)
We subcontract work to owner drivers with:
- Flat tray trucks
- Crane trucks (Hiab or similar)
- Tautliners for sheet and packaged goods
You’ll need a valid licence, ABN, and contractor insurance. We offer flexible delivery work and prompt payment terms for reliable operators who understand trade deliveries.
