VUETRADE Internal Wall Brackets restrain the top plates of non-loadbearing internal walls against sideways movement while letting the trusses above move vertically, through slotted nail holes. Pre-punched galvanised steel, cartons of 100. VUETRADE warns they are not suitable for load bearing applications. Australian made.
Features
- Slotted holes let the truss move vertically (AS 1684 cl 6.2.5.2)
- Leave a 10mm gap under the truss bottom chord or ceiling batten
- 4 VUETRADE 30 x 2.8mm galvanised nails into the wall top plate and 3 into the truss bottom chord, not driven fully home
- Fixed at 1800mm centres (VUETRADE, per AS 1684)
- Not suitable for load bearing applications (VUETRADE)
