About the Ultra Heavy Duty Angles
VUETRADE Ultra Heavy Duty Angles are multi-purpose right-angle brackets for joining timbers at right angles, framing stairs and heavy duty support brackets such as shelves and corners. 40 x 40 x 230mm in 2.0mm 304 stainless steel (cartons of 40), which VUETRADE describes as suited to applications with a higher risk of corrosion, or BLACKOUT black powder coat over 304 stainless (cartons of 20). Fixed with 6 stainless 12g screws or 5 stainless M12 bolts.

- 40 x 40 x 230mm, 2.0mm 304 stainless steel
- Fixing (VUETRADE): 6 x VUETRADE Type 17 12g x 35mm stainless connector plate screws, or 5 x stainless M12 bolts
- 304 stainless or BLACKOUT (black powder coat over 304 stainless)
- 304 stainless: marine sites 100m to 1km from a sheltered coast or 1 to 10km from surf (VUETRADE area chart); not for closer exposure
- Use stainless fixings, and check local rules on stainless connectors (VUETRADE)
- VUETRADE publishes no design capacity for this angle: structural use needs an engineer's design
