About the Heavy Duty Angle Brackets (M10)
VUETRADE Heavy Duty Angle Brackets are 3.0mm right-angle brackets for joining timbers at right angles, usable in different orientations, fixed with M10 bolts (VUETRADE also permits coach screws of an equivalent size). Galvanised mild steel in 12 sizes from 40 x 60 x 60mm to 160 x 100 x 100mm (L x W x H), and 316 stainless in five. Use stainless fasteners with the stainless brackets.

Features
- 3.0mm steel, M10 bolt holes; coach screws of an equivalent size are permitted (VUETRADE)
- Galvanised: mild steel to AS 1379, minimum 300MPa yield, Z275 coating; 316 stainless in 5 sizes
- Sizes 40 x 60 x 60mm to 160 x 100 x 100mm (L x W x H)
- Internal or external right-angle timber connections
- Exposure (VUETRADE area chart): galvanised for enclosed work and inland exterior work kept clear of fresh water, frequent wetting and drying and pool splash; on marine sites (within 1km of a sheltered coast or 10km of surf), in fresh-water contact or frequent wetting and drying, or around pools, use the 316 stainless version
- Use stainless fasteners with stainless brackets to prevent bimetallic corrosion (VUETRADE)
- VUETRADE publishes no design capacity for this bracket: capacities depend on the use, timber grade and load direction, so structural use needs an engineer's design to AS 1720.1, with bolt edge and end distances to AS 1720.1 (VUETRADE technical data)
