About the Pergola Angles
VUETRADE Pergola Angles are multi-purpose brackets for connecting pergola rafters to beams. 92 x 68 x 36mm in 1.6mm steel: G300 Z275 galvanised or 316 stainless (cartons of 200), or BLACKOUT black powder coat over galvanised steel (cartons of 50). VUETRADE publishes a wind uplift capacity for the galvanised and BLACKOUT angles when fixed with its nails and one 12g screw. Australian made.

Features
- 92 x 68 x 36mm, 1.6mm steel
- Fixing (VUETRADE): 4 x VUETRADE 30 x 2.8mm connector plate nails into the rafter, 4 into the supporting beam, and 1 x Type 17 12g x 65mm screw into the beam, through the pre-bored holes only; supporting beam at least 70mm deep
- Wind uplift design capacity, galvanised and BLACKOUT angles (VUETRADE, Category 1 joints, fixed as above): J5 1.7, J4 2.2, J3 3.1, JD5 2.5, JD4 3.1, JD3 4.3 kN. No uplift figure is published here for the 316 angle: have a 316 pergola connection designed by your engineer
- Galvanised nails and screws on galvanised and BLACKOUT angles, stainless nails and screws on stainless (bimetallic corrosion, VUETRADE)
- Galvanised, 316 stainless or BLACKOUT
- Exposure (VUETRADE area chart): galvanised for enclosed work and inland exterior work kept clear of fresh water, frequent wetting and drying and pool splash; on marine sites (within 1km of a sheltered coast or 10km of surf), in fresh-water contact or frequent wetting and drying, or around pools, use the 316 stainless version
- BLACKOUT is black powder coat over G300 Z275 galvanised steel: same exposure limits as galvanised (VUETRADE technical data)
