About the L Type HDG Brackets
VUETRADE L Type HDG Brackets are hot dip galvanised right-angle brackets for heavy duty timber to timber connections, bolted with M10 or M12 bolts or coach screws of an equivalent size (VUETRADE). 5.0 and 6.5mm steel in 13 sizes from 40 x 40 x 40mm to 75 x 150 x 150mm (L x W x H).

Features
- G300 steel to AS 1379, hot dip galvanised to a minimum of 300g/m2
- 5.0 and 6.5mm thick
- M10 or M12 bolts as listed per size, or coach screws of an equivalent size (VUETRADE technical data)
- Sizes 40 x 40 x 40mm to 75 x 150 x 150mm (L x W x H)
- Exposure (VUETRADE area chart): galvanised suits enclosed work and inland exterior work kept clear of fresh water, frequent wetting and drying and pool splash. This product is galvanised only, so it does not suit marine sites (within 1km of a sheltered coast or 10km of surf) or those wet locations
- VUETRADE publishes no design capacity for this bracket: capacities depend on the use, timber grade and load direction, so structural use needs an engineer's design to AS 1720.1, with bolt edge and end distances to AS 1720.1 (VUETRADE technical data)
