About the Structural HDG Angle Brackets
VUETRADE Structural HDG Brackets are hot dip galvanised right-angle brackets for joining timbers at right angles, inside or outside, bolted with M12 or M16 bolts (VUETRADE also permits coach screws of an equivalent size). 15 sizes: equal-leg brackets from 75 x 75 x 75mm to 290 x 65 x 65mm in 5.0, 6.0 and 8.0mm steel, unequal-leg 75 x 50mm brackets 140 to 290mm long in 5.0mm, and a 200 x 140 x 90mm unequal bracket in 8.0mm.

Features
- G300 steel to AS 1379, hot dip galvanised to a minimum of 300g/m2
- 5.0, 6.0 and 8.0mm thick
- M12 or M16 bolts (as listed per size); coach screws of an equivalent size are permitted (VUETRADE)
- Equal and unequal leg profiles
- Sizes 75 x 75 x 75mm to 290 x 75 x 50mm (L x W x H)
- Exposure (VUETRADE area chart): galvanised suits enclosed work and inland exterior work kept clear of fresh water, frequent wetting and drying and pool splash. This product is galvanised only, so it does not suit marine sites (within 1km of a sheltered coast or 10km of surf) or those wet locations
- VUETRADE publishes no design capacity for this bracket: capacities depend on the use, timber grade and load direction, so structural use needs an engineer's design to AS 1720.1, with bolt edge and end distances to AS 1720.1 (VUETRADE technical data)
