About the Cyclone Straps
VUETRADE Cyclone Straps are 1.0mm galvanised tie-downs for purlins and trusses to wall frames in cyclonic and high wind areas. 400, 600 and 900mm lengths, cartons of 100. VUETRADE describes the galvanised finish as designed for internal use (inside the roof space). Fix with VUETRADE 30 x 2.8mm galvanised connector plate nails; capacity depends on the nails per leg and install method in VUETRADE's technical data; tie-down design to AS 1684 or your engineer.

- 400, 600 and 900mm lengths, 32mm wide, 1.0mm G300 Z275 galvanised steel
- Face fixed, wrap under, or wrap under and over (not 400mm) installs (VUETRADE)
- VUETRADE 30 x 2.8mm galvanised connector plate nails only, never punched through the strap
- Design capacity depends on nails per leg, install method and joint group (VUETRADE technical data); tie-down design to AS 1684 or your engineer
- Galvanised finish designed for internal use (VUETRADE): not for exposed, wet or marine sites
