About the Expansion Ties
VUETRADE Expansion Ties are gap ties for expansion joints in block masonry: the ends hold in the bed joints and the pre-bent middle section gives a 10 to 20mm control gap during construction. 267mm long. Z600 galvanised (durability class R2) or 316 stainless (class R4), cartons of 60. Made in Australia.

- Galvanised: G300 Z600, durability class R2 (AS/NZS 2699.1:2020)
- Galvanised (R2): 10km or more from breaking surf and 1km or more from a sheltered coast, and not in contact with fresh water or frequent non-saline wetting and drying (VUETRADE area chart)
- 316 stainless: durability class R4, for sites within 1km of breaking surf or 100m of a sheltered coast
- AS/NZS 2699 and AS 3700 (VUETRADE); durability class per AS/NZS 2699.1:2020
- Made in Australia
