About the Double Sleeve Expansion Ties
VUETRADE Double Sleeve Expansion Ties are rod ties for vertical expansion joints: a sleeve on each end is laid into either side of the joint so the wall can move. 5.5mm bar for a control gap of up to 50mm. Galvanised (290mm, metal sleeves, durability class R2) or 316 stainless (324mm, polypropylene sleeves, class R4), cartons of 50. VUETRADE states they comply with AS/NZS 2699 and AS 3700.

- Galvanised (R2): 10km or more from breaking surf and 1km or more from a sheltered coast, and not in contact with fresh water or frequent non-saline wetting and drying (VUETRADE area chart)
- 316 (R4) for sites within 1km of breaking surf or 100m of a sheltered coast (VUETRADE)
- AS/NZS 2699 and AS 3700 (VUETRADE)
