VUEBRACE Punched Builder's Strapping 30mm is the wall bracing strap: VUETRADE gives a bracing capacity of 1.5 kN/m (AS 1684 Table 8.18(b), Fixing Detail A) or 3.0 kN/m with stud straps (Table 8.18(d), Fixing Detail B, 1.0mm strap or heavier), with the panel and angle limits on its page. VUEBRACE Light Duty Strapping 25mm is non-structural. VUEBRACE Unpunched Builder's Strapping is not for structural bracing: VUETRADE gives its maximum tension under test conditions (8.8 kN for 0.8mm, 12.8 kN for 1.2mm) for tie-down as specified in AS 1684 or by your engineer.
