The economical everyday flush door on a lightweight honeycomb (hollow) core. The H1 internal door comes as the classic Internal Door Primed MDF Flush H1, paint-ready, or with an SPM woodgrain veneer for staining. The X1 external door carries a durable exterior-grade DuraXP or paint-grade ply face. Ideal for wardrobes, pantries and internal rooms; the X1 for protected external openings. Solicore SCX1: solid particleboard core
The Hume Solicore SCX1 is a solid, water-resistant particleboard-core flush door: heavier, quieter and the best base for a superior paint finish or a wet area. Faces include Primed MDF, DuraXP, A'Bond Ply, SPM and a real Tasmanian Oak veneer. Can I buy Hume doors directly from Allmat?+

Which core should I choose?+
Honeycomb is a light, hollow core, the economical everyday door for wardrobes, pantries and internal rooms. Solicore SCX1 is a solid, water-resistant particleboard core, heavier and quieter and the best choice for a superior paint finish or a wet area. Blockboard STPC is a solid timber pine core, the most solid door, for heavy-duty openings. Tell us the opening and we will recommend the right one.
What faces (skins) are available?+
The outer skin depends on the core. For a painted door: Primed MDF is a primed, paint-ready internal face, DuraXP is a durable exterior-grade paintable face, and A'Bond Ply is a paint-grade plywood face. For a stained timber door: SPM is a real Sliced Pacific Maple veneer, and on Solicore, Tassie Oak is a real Tasmanian Oak veneer, both ready to stain or clear-coat. Internal or external?+
Honeycomb comes as an internal door (H1, in Primed MDF or SPM) or an external door (X1, in DuraXP or ply). Solicore SCX1 is water-resistant and suits both. Blockboard STPC is best kept internal or well protected; it is not recommended for exposed situations and all surfaces must be sealed.
What sizes are available?+
The standard door is 2040x820x35mm. Standard heights are 2040 and 2340mm in widths from 620 to 920mm; 40 and 45mm thicknesses and custom sizes up to 3000x1200mm (Solicore to 4200x2400mm) are made to order.
Are fire-rated flush doors available?+
Yes. Fire-rated flush doors are available for openings that need a fire door. Ask with your enquiry and we will confirm the rating required for your job.
Can a flush door be a cavity slider?+
