  • Five sizes: M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 (NRALPRKOM03085 to NRALPRKOM08165), aluminium, reduced head.
  • Hole size and grip examples: M3 needs a 5mm hole and grips 0.5mm to 1.5mm; M8 needs an 11mm hole and grips 1.0mm to 3.5mm.
  • Working pullout load: 500N for M3, 600N for M4 and 650N for M5 in 1.2mm aluminium plate; 1,650N for M6 and 1,750N for M8 in 3.0mm aluminium. Working loads include a factor of safety of 2.5 for steel; mean and characteristic loads are also listed. All values are laboratory results.
  • Listed uses: fastening body panels and chassis parts in the automotive industry, fastening steel sheets in construction, load bearing fixings where the material is too thin for bolting, and places with no access for a normal nut.
