Types of bolts

Most jobs start with Hex Bolts & Set Screws, from class 4.6 to 12.9 and 304 and 316 stainless. For timber, Coach Bolts (Cup Head Bolts) go right through with a nut, and Coach Screws (Lag Screws) screw straight into the timber. For structural steel, the hex bolt page also has AS/NZS 1252 and EN 14399 structural assemblies, and TC Bolt (Tension Control) has EN 14399-10 tension control assemblies.

Specialty bolts cover one job each: T-Bolt for channel and T-slots, Purlin Bolt for steel purlins and girts, HBS Blind Bolt for fixing to hollow section from one side, Plow Bolt and Track Bolt for earthmoving gear, Hex Bolt & Nut (XL Thread) for long galvanised bolts, and Flange & Sems Bolts for bolts with the washers already fitted.
