What does BAL40 mean?+

BAL40 is the highest standard Bushfire Attack Level for entrance doors under AS3959, above BAL19 and BAL29. These doors are independently fire-tested to AS1530.8.1 for BAL40-rated openings. Confirm your site’s required BAL rating with your certifier before you order, and we will match the right door to it.

What faces are available?+

A Duracote (BAL40 STD) standard face on every model, with Merbau and SPM finishes also available on BFR400 through BFR4013. Preview each with the selector above.

What glass options are there?+

Glazed models come in Clear, Frost and Grey Tint with 6mm toughened safety glass. The BFR4018 to BFR4026 designs are solid doors with no glass. The selector shows the options for the model you pick.
