- Stria boards are 14mm thick pre-sealed shiplap boards, with Smooth in 325mm and 405mm widths and Fine Texture in 325mm width.
- Boards install horizontally over timber or steel frames, either direct fixed or over Hardie Cavity Battens or 70x35mm timber battens.
- In N1 to N3 and C1 winds the maximum stud spacing is 600mm, reducing to 450mm or 300mm near building edges in higher wind ratings.
- Face fix with 2 brad nails per board, or use the concealed fixing option with 1 nail per board in the underlap.
- Maintain a minimum 150mm ground clearance and a 50mm clearance to roofs, decks, paths and driveways.
- Paint boards with exterior acrylic paint within 3 months of fixing, or within 7 days if within 1km of the coast.
