  • EasyLap Panel is 8.5mm thick, pre-primed, and comes in sheet sizes from 3000 x 900 up to 3600 x 1200.
  • Install with a minimum 150mm clearance to the ground and 50mm clearance to roofs, decks, paths and driveways.
  • Maximum stud and cavity batten spacing is 600mm for wind classes N1 to N4/C2, reducing to 450mm for N5/C3 and 300mm for N6/C4.
  • Fix cladding with 2.8 x 40mm fibre cement nails to timber or 41mm HardieDrive screws to steel; use class 4 fasteners within 1km of the coast, class 3 elsewhere.
  • Apply a continuous 4mm bead of Hardie Joint Sealant to the shiplap edge and fix a 50mm foam back sealing tape behind every vertical joint.
  • Panels must be finished with roll-on texture within 3 months of fixing, or within 7 days in coastal or corrosive areas.
