Sub Floor Punched Vents and Sub Floor Louvred Vents are built in while the bricks or blocks are laid. Flat face vents screw onto an existing wall. Work out how many you need from the NCC subfloor ventilation rate for your climate zone and each vent's airflow, spaced evenly and no more than 600mm in from a corner. On bushfire-prone sites, the anti-spark vents carry a 316 mesh insert that VUETRADE rates up to and including BAL-40 to AS 3959; the mesh cuts the airflow, so size them on the anti-spark figures.
