Sampson High Tensile Washer Dimensions: Metric and Imperial Sizes
Hobson's two-page dimensions sheet for high tensile Sampson washers, hardened to 38 to 45 HRC. It lists the part number, outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness and pack quantity for three ranges: metric plain, metric zinc plated, and imperial zinc yellow.

- All three ranges are hardened to 38 to 45 HRC.
- Metric, Hobson spec, plain finish (WR43PM): M8 to M64. For example M12 is 26.0mm OD, 13.0mm ID, 3.2mm thick; M20 is 40.0mm OD, 21.0mm ID, 4.5mm thick.
- Metric, ASTM F436M Type 1, zinc plated (WR43ZM): M6 to M36. For example M12 is 26.0mm OD, 14.0mm ID, 4.0mm thick.
- Imperial, ASTM F436, zinc yellow passivate (WR43Y): 1/4 inch to 3 inch. For example 1/2 inch is 27.00mm OD, 13.49mm ID, 3.5mm thick.
- The plain and zinc plated metric washers are not the same size: M10 is 22.0mm OD and 3.0mm thick plain, but 20.0mm OD and 2.0mm thick zinc plated.
