- Bi-metal screw: 304 stainless head and shank with a high hardness drilling point, for fastening timber to steel. Applications listed: aluminium, steel, sheet metal, plywood, timber and treated pine.
- Two parts, T4XGXCO1016038 and T4XGXCO1016050. R1000 bi-metal finish.
- Pullout working load (factor of safety 2.5 for steel included): 200N in 0.5mm G2 steel, 1,550N in 1.5mm G450, 2,500N in 2.9mm G450.
- Characteristic tensile strength 9,150N and shear strength 5,450N (not working loads); torsional strength 6.9 Nm. All values are laboratory results.
- Drive with a cordless screwdriver set at a maximum of 2,200 to 3,000 RPM with firm, steady pressure and do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.
