  • Hex head with seal for wall cladding to thin metal battens, timber trusses and steel purlins, and for roof flashings and cappings. Suits fastening roof sheeting to thin metal battens, timber trusses and steel purlins up to 1.9mm thick. Comes in colours to suit the Colorbond range.
  • One size: 6.2mm, 11 TPI, 25mm long (23mm thread), 5mm drill point, 15mm head, 5/16" hex drive, pack of 500. C1022 hardened steel, Class 4 finish.
  • Pullout working load in G2 steel (factor of safety 2.5 for steel included): 400N in 0.55mm, 950N in 1.10mm, 2,100N in 1.50mm.
  • Characteristic tensile strength 15,450N and shear strength 9,250N (not working loads); torsional strength 10.9 Nm. All values are laboratory results.
  • Drive at up to 1,500 RPM with a 5/16" hex bit and firm, steady pressure. Do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.
