- Two lengths: 32mm (T9P53WP1224032) and 38mm (T9P53WP1224038). 12 gauge, 24 TPI, 11mm wafer head, Phillips #3 drive, packs of 1,000.
- C1022 hardened steel, Class 3 finish. Listed uses: metal to metal fixing, thick steel purlins and hot rolled steel, plumbing, steel fabrication and HVAC systems, and sarking to heavy steel frames.
- Working pullout load: 1,350N in 2.0mm G450, 2,050N in 2.5mm G450, 2,150N in 3.0mm G2 and 3,850N in 5.0mm hot rolled steel. Working loads already include a factor of safety of 2.5 for steel; mean and characteristic loads are also listed. All values are laboratory results.
- Characteristic shear strength 5,700N and characteristic tensile strength 9,500N (mean 6,650N and 11,100N); torsional strength 11.3Nm.
- Drill point test: through 8mm hot rolled steel under a 27kg load at 2,200RPM in no more than 10 seconds (7 seconds average).
- Install with a cordless screwdriver set between 2,200 and 3,000RPM, with consistently firm pressure while it drills. Do not over-tighten, and impact drivers are not recommended.
