Key things to remember

The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.

  • Parts T41MSDP1016012, 018 and 022: 10-16 x 12, 18 and 22mm, #2 Phillips.
  • Martensitic 410 stainless steel. The undercut head sits flush in thin metal plates such as hinges or brackets without bottoming out.
  • For brackets, hinges into metal without pre-drilling, and thin metal plates where a flush finish matters.
  • Working pull-out load from the steel it is fixed into, safety factor 2.5 already included: 200N in 0.5mm G2, 1,550N in 1.5mm G450, 2,500N in 2.9mm G450. Laboratory values; actual loads depend on the base material.
  • Use a #2 Phillips drive bit in a cordless screw gun at 2,200 to 3,000 RPM, with firm, steady pressure while it drills. Do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.

Who it helps: Installers fixing hinges and brackets where a flush head matters.
