- For fixing roofing profiles and wall cladding to steel purlins and battens, including crest fixing of roofing sheet on car ports, sheds and pergolas.
- C1022 hardened steel with a Class 4 finish.
- Working pull-out load from the steel it is fixed into, safety factor 2.5 already included: 550N in 1.1mm G2, 1,850N in 2.0mm G450, 3,850N in 3.8mm G450. Laboratory values; actual loads depend on the base material.
- Use a 5/16 inch hex drive bit and a cordless screw gun at 2,200 to 3,000 RPM and firm, steady pressure while it drills. Do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.
