- For fixing plasterboard to steel wall studs and ceilings.
- Hardened C1022 steel with a black phosphate finish, 6 gauge x 20 TPI, 8.2mm bugle head, Phillips #2 drive.
- Three lengths: 25mm (T9PMLBP0620025, packs of 3,000), 32mm and 41mm (packs of 1,000).
- Working pull-out load: 200N in 0.5mm G550, 250N in 0.7mm G2, 450N in 1.2mm G2 and 800N in 2.0mm G550.
- All pull-out figures are from laboratory tests on Hobson's DRiLLX screws; the working loads already include a factor of safety of 2.5 for steel.
- Install with a cordless screwdriver at 2,200 to 3,000 RPM with firm pressure, and do not overtighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.
