- Low profile wafer head (1.8mm high, 9mm across) for signage, brackets, furniture and cladding sheet, including stainless, aluminium and fibreglass sheeting.
- Bi-metal construction: A2 stainless body, heat treated high carbon steel drill point, R1000 hours protective coat.
- One size: 10 gauge x 16 TPI x 25mm, Phillips #2 drive, packs of 500 (QFind Q920).
- Maximum drilling thickness is 4mm.
- Working pull-out load in purlin: 350N in 0.7mm G2, 1,400N in 1.5mm G550 and 2,600N in 2.4mm G450.
- All pull-out figures are from laboratory tests on Hobson's DRiLLX screws; the working loads already include a factor of safety of 2.5 for steel.
- Install with a cordless screwdriver at 2,200 to 3,000 RPM, keep firm, steady pressure while it drills, and do not overtighten. Impact drivers are not recommended.
