Key things to remember
The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.
- Property class 5: mechanical properties and chemical composition to ISO 898-2 / AS/NZS 4291.2 for class 5 nuts. Hot dip galvanised to AS/NZS 1214.
- Each male thread must go in at least 1 x its diameter to reach these properties. The coupler is 3 x D long to allow adjustment at either end.
- Proof load, with that thread engagement: M10 34.2kN, M12 51.4kN, M20 154.4kN, M36 514.7kN.
- Seven sizes, AXHC05GCM10 (M10) to AXHC05GCM36 (M36). For example M12: 1.75mm pitch, 18mm spanner, 36mm long; M24: 3.00mm pitch, 36mm spanner, 72mm long.
- Pack quantities from 100 (M10, M12) down to 5 (M30, M36).
