- The three-lobed thread forms its own thread with less friction, gives deep thread engagement and resists loosening from vibration.
- Rolling the thread does away with tapping, washers and nuts and thread locking compounds.
- Sizes M3 to M6, lengths 6mm to 30mm. Torx sizes: M3 T10, M4 T20, M5 T25, M6 T30.
- Recommended hole size in steel: M3 2.75mm, M4 3.65mm to 3.7mm, M5 4.6mm to 4.65mm, M6 5.5mm to 5.55mm. In aluminium: M3 2.75mm, M4 3.7mm, M5 4.65mm, M6 5.65mm.
- Mild steel, zinc plated (RoHS compliant). Used in metal framing, automotive work and punched or cast parts.
