- Single-piece screw anchor for solid concrete: it taps its own undercut as it is screwed into the hole, and it is fully removable.
- Made for hanging mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler and cable tray services, and ceiling hangers. Suited to light to medium duty loads.
- Size M10 x 38, M10 x 1.5 thread, packs of 100. Drill a 6mm hole and embed 38mm. Minimum spacing 50mm, minimum edge distance 40mm.
- Best installed with a cordless impact driver and the MXSVSM10 socket (13mm across flats, 1/4" drive).
- Working load in 20MPa non-cracked concrete, 38mm embedment: 3.1kN in tension, 5.8kN in shear at 100mm edge distance. In 32MPa non-cracked concrete: 3.9kN tension, 5.8kN shear at 100mm edge distance. Factors of safety 2.5 (steel) and 3.0 (concrete) are included.
- Design resistances (capacity reduction factors 0.60 concrete, 0.80 steel included) are also given for engineers: 5.6kN tension and 8.6kN shear in 20MPa; 7.0kN and 10.9kN in 32MPa (non-cracked, 38mm embedment, shear at 100mm edge distance).
