- AS 5216:2018, Design of post-installed and cast-in fastenings in concrete, is referenced in the National Construction Code.
- To comply, a product must be tested and assessed to its European Assessment Document (EAD); the results are summarised in a European Technical Assessment (ETA), which must be used according to the standard.
- The EADs: 330232 for post-installed mechanical anchors, 330499 for bonded (chemical) anchors and 330008 for cast-in anchors and anchor channels.
- Chemical anchors listed: Mungo MIT700RE pure epoxy, MIT-Hybrid Plus, MIT-SE Plus vinylester and MIT-SP polyester.
- Mechanical anchors listed: Clawbolt Pro wedge anchors (316 stainless, galvanised and zinc plated), Drop-In Pro and Drop-In Pro Lip anchors, H-IT Pro splice wedge, and XBolt Pro screw anchors and studs.
- The tables show each product's ETA option, cracked or non-cracked use, seismic C1 and C2 and fire resistance; installation details and limits are in each product's own ETA.
