  • 19mm Secura Flooring spans joists at 450mm maximum centres; 22mm spans at 600mm maximum.
  • Boards are colour-coded, with a green front corner for 19mm and grey for 22mm, and long edges are tongue and groove.
  • All square sheet edges and movement joints must be fully supported by framing.
  • Fasteners are fixed at 200mm maximum centres with a minimum 12mm edge distance and must be at least Class 3.
  • Leave a 5mm butt/movement joint with a 10mm backing rod set 5mm below the surface, then seal with Hardie Joint Sealant.
  • Sheets are glued and screwed; for exterior decks lay boards chamfer up, tile within 3 months and design a minimum 1:100 fall away from the building.
