- Axon Cladding is 9mm thick and 1200mm wide, with U-shaped grooves at either 133mm or 400mm centres.
- Minimum stud width is 35mm, increasing to 38mm at butt joints.
- Maximum fastener spacing is 300mm for fibre cement nails and Hardie Drive screws, and 150mm for stainless steel brad nails.
- Not suitable inside a shower recess or over a waterproofing membrane; use Villaboard Lining in wet areas instead.
- Sheets must be painted within 3 months of fixing, using a minimum of two coats of quality acrylic paint.
- Corners use a 6mm gap with bond breaker tape and a continuous bead of Hardie Joint Sealant.
