  • PrimeLine Newport Weatherboard is a pre-primed 9mm fibre cement board, 4200mm long and 170mm wide, and can be direct fixed or cavity fixed.
  • Maximum stud spacing is 600mm in general areas, reducing to 300mm within 1200mm of building edges at higher wind classifications.
  • Face nail with 60x3.15mm bullet head nails, or conceal fix with 45x2.8mm fibre cement nails finished flush with the board surface.
  • PrimeLine Newport Weatherboard cannot be used for bracing applications.
  • Install with a minimum 150mm clearance to the earth and a minimum 50mm clearance to roofs, decks, paths, steps and driveways.
  • Paint with an exterior acrylic paint within 3 months of fixing, or within 7 days if within 1km of a coastal area or corrosive environment.
