- Hardie Groove Lining is a 7.5mm thick internal lining board with 100mm batten widths and a half groove edge to conceal sheet joins.
- Fix to timber with 30 x 2.8mm galvanised fibre cement nails or ND50 brad nails, and to 0.5 to 1.6mm BMT steel with 25mm Hardie Drive screws.
- Minimum stud width is typically 35mm, increasing to 38mm at butt joints.
- It must not be used in shower areas.
- On walls with a wind classification of N4/C2 or greater, reduce fastener spacing to 150mm and stud spacing to 450mm centres.
- Approximate mass is 10.44kg/m2 and the board is non-combustible, classified as Group 1 material.
