- The Hardie Deck System is warranted for 10 years from the date of purchase against defects due to defective factory workmanship or materials.
- Associated accessories supplied by James Hardie are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- The warranty is not transferable and applies only to the first purchaser or the last purchaser before installation.
- Cover applies only if the product was installed and maintained strictly in accordance with the Hardie Deck System Installation Guide.
- A claim must be made in writing within 30 days of the defect becoming reasonably apparent, with proof of purchase, a description and photographs.
- The warranty does not cover damage from impact, poor workmanship, surface scratches or stains, mould, or failure of third-party coatings and sealers.
