Key things to remember
The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.
- Hex head roofing screw with washer: class 4, AS 3566, C1022 hardened steel, H4 head marking.
- Two sizes, both 6.2 gauge with 11 TPI and a 5/16" hex drive: 50mm long (T9PV4XS6211050, QFind Q313) and 65mm long (T9PV4XS6211065, Q314). Thread length 38mm, head 15mm across, 6mm high, 5mm drill point.
- Use: crest fixing roof sheets to steel and timber battens.
- XGRiP holds the roofing tight against the seal, even when the roof is walked on. Scratchguard protects the shank from scratching to improve corrosion resistance.
- Painted heads in Colorbond colours: replace the 9P in the part number with the colour code, for example TSMV4XS6211050 for a Surfmist head.
- The colour table gives each Colorbond colour a two-letter code (for example DW Dover White, SM Surfmist, MO Monument). Discontinued colours are painted on request, and NZ colours are available on request.
Who it helps: Roofers crest fixing sheet roofing, and staff working out the part number for a coloured head.
