- Four lengths: 50, 65, 75 and 100mm (T9PWYBH1410050 to T9PWYBH1410100). 14 gauge, 10 TPI, 14mm bugle batten head with a 5mm hex socket.
- Four ribs under the head help countersink the screw into timber. C1022 hardened steel, zinc yellow passivate.
- Listed for heavy duty timber fixing, roof battens, and pergolas, furniture and fences.
- Working pullout load at 35mm embedment: 1,750N in F7 pine and 2,950N in F27 hardwood. Working loads include a factor of safety of 2.5 for timber; mean and characteristic values are also listed, all from laboratory tests.
- Characteristic shear strength 11,800N and characteristic tensile strength 19,650N (mean 13,150N and 21,950N); torsional strength 14.1Nm.
- Drill point test: through 0.55mm G300 steel under an 18kg load at 2,200RPM in no more than 4.5 seconds (3.5 seconds average). Impact drivers are not recommended for installation.
