Hobson's three-page performance data for the DRiLLX Type 17 hex head screw with washer and XGRiP, 12 gauge, 11 TPI (part T9PW4XS1211). It is for crest fixing roof profiles and wall cladding to timber, sheds and other metal to timber fixing, and to steel battens up to 1.5mm.

- Two lengths: 50mm (Q665) and 65mm (Q670), 12 gauge 11 TPI, 14.5mm head, 5/16 inch hex.
- C1022 hardened steel with a class 4 finish.
- Working pull-out loads at 35mm embedment (safety factor 2.5 for timber included): 2,100N in F7 pine and 3,000N in F27 hardwood. Lab results.
- Drill point test: it drilled 0.55mm G550 at 2,200rpm under an 18kg load in no more than 3.5 seconds (2.5 seconds average).
- Install with a cordless screw gun at 2,200 to 3,000rpm, firm steady pressure, and do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended. Magnetic or spring 5/16 inch nut setters are recommended.
