  • The extended drill point and fine 20 TPI thread let it drill steel up to 12mm thick.
  • Lengths 150mm (QA28), 200mm (QA29), 250mm (QA36) and 300mm (QA37), all with a 16mm drill point, 70mm thread and 3/8 inch hex.
  • SAE1022 steel with a class 4 finish.
  • Working pull-out loads (safety factor 2.5 for steel included): G450 steel 1,900N at 2mm, 4,150N at 3mm, 5,900N at 5mm and 6,650N at 8mm; hot rolled steel 7,450N at 5mm and 8,950N at 6mm or 8mm. Lab results.
  • Install with a cordless screwdriver at 2,200 to 3,000rpm, with firm steady pressure, and do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended. Recommended 3/8 inch hex bits: TXDIPNSS37045, TXDIPNSS37065 and TXDIPNSS37150.
