Key things to remember

The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.

  • A secure ring goes over an installed bolt head or nut and gives permanent tamper-proof security.
  • Fits over the hex of DIN 931 hex bolts, DIN 933 hex set screws and DIN 934 hex nuts.
  • Material AISI 316/A4 stainless steel.
  • Five sizes: M6, M8, M10, M12 and M16, part numbers IRS16PDM06 to IRS16PDM16.
  • To fit: install the fastener first, centre the ring over the head or nut, then hit the top of the ring with a mallet until it sits flush. The mallet deforms the ring onto the hex.

Who it helps: Anyone who needs installed bolts or nuts to be tamper-proof.
