Key things to remember

The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.

  • One size: T9PN4FH1012020 (10 gauge, 12 TPI, 20mm long), 5/16 inch hex drive, packs of 1,000.
  • C1022 hardened steel with a class 4 finish.
  • Working pull-out load in 0.55mm G550 steel: 400N (mean 1,150N). Lab results with a safety factor of 2.5 for steel already included.
  • Drill point test: it drilled 0.55mm G550 at 2,200rpm under a 13kg load in no more than 1.5 seconds (1.0 second average). Torsional strength 5.4Nm.
  • Install with a cordless screwdriver at no more than 2,500rpm, with firm steady pressure, and do not over-tighten. Impact drivers are not recommended. Recommended 5/16 inch hex drive bits: TXDIPNSS31045 and TXDIPNSS31065.
