  • Both the eye bolt and the eye nut are approved and certified for lifting, and can be used in axial or angular loading.
  • Eye bolt: DIN 580, grade C15E, zinc yellow passivate, seven sizes M6 to M24 (ULEBC5YD5M06 to ULEBC5YD5M24).
  • Eye bolt examples: M12 has a 53mm eye height and 20.5mm thread; M24 has a 90mm eye height and 36mm thread.
  • Eye nut: DIN 582, grade C15E, zinc yellow passivate, M6 to M24 (ULENC5YD5M06 to ULENC5YD5M24), collar 8.5mm (M6) to 20mm (M24) thick.
  • Each is stamped with its working load for axial loading and marked CE and WLL. The flyer itself gives no WLL figures.
  • Uses: a connection point for anchoring, rigging, pulling, lifting or hoisting, with rope, cables, shackles and hooks.
  • Threaded into steel equipment, machines and structures, or bolted through steel or timber profiles and secured with a nut.
