XBolt PRO Stud Concrete Screw Anchor: Sizes, Installation and Seismic Categories

- For heavy duty through fixings in cracked and non-cracked concrete, with ETA certification. Fire resistance R30 to R120.
- Ten sizes from M8 x 90 to M12 x 248. Seismic category by size: M8 none, M10 C1, M12 C2-C1 (assessed under ETAG 001 Annex E).
- Drill hole and depth: M8 6mm hole, 75mm deep; M10 8mm, 90mm; M12 10mm, 100mm. Effective embedment 48mm, 56mm and 64mm. Minimum concrete thickness 100mm, 110mm and 130mm.
- Required installation torque: M8 20Nm, M10 50Nm, M12 80Nm. Minimum edge distance and spacing: 45mm, 50mm and 60mm.
- Maximum fixture thickness depends on length, from 10mm (M8 x 90, M10 x 105, M12 x 118) up to 140mm (M12 x 248). Clearance hole in the fixture 9mm, 12mm and 14mm.
- The certification covers the screw only. The nut must be grade 8, and the washer to ISO 7089 or ISO 7093, both zinc plated to ISO 4042.
- To install: drill in rotary hammer mode, clean the hole, drive the anchor in with an impact screwdriver, make sure the nut is in full contact with the fixture, then check the torque. No waiting time before loading.
