A one-page product data sheet for the TX-CON anchor screw with a large wafer head and Torx drive, part MTXSRGO75102. It covers what it fixes into, the size, embedment, spacing and edge distances, and working loads in tension.
What this covers
- Applications and base materials
- Size and part number
- Embedment, spacing and edge distance
- Working load in tension
- Installation
Key things to remember
The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.
- One size: M7.5 x 102mm (7.5mm diameter), 6mm drill hole, T40 Torx drive, pack of 100. HEC carbon steel with a silver grey R1000 hours protective coat.
- Light to medium duty and no plug needed. Made for fixing timber to concrete or timber, for example bottom plates. The large wafer head increases clamping force.
- Base materials listed: concrete, aerated concrete, brick, hollow concrete block, and timber (self-drilling).
- Working load in tension in 20MPa concrete: 2.1kN at 50mm minimum embedment (150mm spacing, 75mm edge distance) and 3.8kN at 65mm (195mm spacing, 97.5mm edge). In 32MPa concrete at 65mm (195mm spacing, 97.5mm edge): 4.9kN. Factor of safety 2.5 for steel and 3.0 for concrete already included.
- No torque values are given. Drive the screw until the head is in firm, snug contact with the fixture, with the fixture firm against the base material. Over tightening can damage the fixture.
Who it helps: Builders fixing bottom plates and other timber to concrete or masonry who want the screw's size and working loads.
