Key things to remember

The essentials from this document in plain words. Check the full document before you rely on a figure.

  • Drop in anchor for metric screws and rods, set before the fixture goes on (pre installation). Finishes listed: zinc plated (over 5μm) and A4/316 stainless steel.
  • Approved to ETA Option 7 for non-cracked concrete, and to ETAG 001 Part 6 for multiple use in cracked and non-cracked concrete in non-structural applications. Fire resistance up to F120 is part of the approval.
  • For reinforced or unreinforced concrete. Typical uses: pipes, ventilation systems and cable trays.
  • Sizes MEA M6 x 25 to M16 x 65, plus MEAr M8 x 30, M10 x 40 and M12 x 50. Short drilling depth and low edge and spacing distances.
  • Installation torque: M6 4Nm, M8 8Nm, M10 15Nm, M12 35Nm, M16 60Nm.
  • The tension loads in the table are characteristic values to the approval in C20/25 concrete, for engineers, not working loads. The M12 x 50/D16 figure is Mungo lab tested and not part of the approval.

Who it helps: Services installers hanging pipes, ducts and cable trays from concrete, and engineers checking approval data.
