Hume Doors
Bushfire Rated Doors
If your site is in a designated bushfire-prone area, your entry doors need to meet a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL). Hume makes entrance doors of bushfire-resisting construction, compliant to BAL19 and BAL29, in a range of designs and finishes, along with matching bushfire-resistant frames. Confirm the required BAL rating with your certifier, and we will match the right door and frame to it.

Build your bushfire door →Understanding BAL
BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) measures the severity of a building's exposure to a bushfire. These doors suit BAL19 and BAL29 openings. Your certifier or building surveyor sets the BAL for your site, so confirm it before ordering.
Matching frames
Hume also makes bushfire-resistant frames to pair with the doors, so the whole opening meets the rating. Ask with your enquiry and we will quote the door and frame together.
