Bushfire Rated Doors
If your site is in a designated bushfire-prone area, your entry doors need to meet a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL). Hume makes entrance doors of bushfire-resisting construction for BAL19 and BAL29 sites, and an independently fire-tested BAL40 range for the highest standard rating, in a range of designs and finishes, along with matching bushfire-resistant frames. Confirm the required BAL rating with your certifier, and we will match the right door and frame to it.

16 designs independently fire-tested to BAL40, the highest standard rating for entrance doors, in a Duracote standard face plus Merbau and SPM on select models, with 6mm toughened safety glass options.

BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) measures the severity of a building's exposure to a bushfire. The BFR range suits BAL19 and BAL29 openings; the BAL40 range covers the highest standard level. Your certifier or building surveyor sets the BAL for your site, so confirm it before ordering.
Matching frames
